Goodbye to Edinburgh Fringe 2017!

In total we perfumed 14 times in raw and I saw 14 circus and dance theatre performances during my Edinburgh Fringe experience 4-19th Aug 2017.

Such a great performances I watched so far in Edinburgh during Fringe Festival between 4 and 19th of Aug.

Thai performance - part of Taiwan Season: Heart of Darkness. Quite physical and dramatic. Very strong story and choreography, simplicity and intention are remarkable.

Strong circus performance of young company from Quebec. I saw them last year. They are very good, the tricks are great and the theatrical aspect of the show is very engaging and funny.

Circus and dance performance from China - very good irony of our western pop culture with the 80's and 90's hits. Great aerial and street/break dance performamce.

Circus dance performance from London - Gravity. I know the performers from Gravity studio in London where I used to train aerial dance. Very good physical performance with strong contact impro acrobatics and trapeze, funny, energetic, good to watch.

Funny and acrobatic dance theatre with a couple of physically strong boys.They performed in our theatre Greenside at Nicolson Square after our show " Escape 2". I really enjoyed their dance performance. Very good choreography, strong contemporary and acrobatic kind of hip hop dance performance.

And finally my favourite dance theatre performance from Check Republic. It gave me the impression of being in the forest with people cutting the trees. It has probably nothing to do with this because of environmental aspect but the power of movement combined with the pieces of wooden platforms incorporated into the choreography were very expressive and intentional. I would love to creat such a dance piece by myself. Totally recommended.

Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2017

After Fringe preview in London with Escape 2, and yoga retreat in Spain I ended up finally in Edinburgh for Fringe Festival. We did 2 runs so for, 12 more to go. We are on every day from 4th to 19th of Aug except from Sundays. The weather was not very inviting, cold and rainy, but hopefully will get better;)
