Napoli/Sorentina and Amalfi cost 8-15th March 2014

On a flight to Naples...8th - 15th March. Just a quick change of working location. Instead of crowded and clouded London - the sunny Amalfi coast is going to welcome me;) it's very unusual for my standards to go away for only one week but it's fine for now just to recharge the batteries and get ready for Edinburgh Fringe this August 2014. Since the Xmas break it's been pretty hard to manage LCP. Now I'm decreasing resources such a cast (half only 4/5 dancers in comparison with previous 9), improving the existing choreography of 'Am I' and extending it up to 75 min. It's been such a headache to manage so large group of dancers (8) considering such a limited time they could commit to it. At the end they managed to do such a great work performing for the most prestigious internetional contemporary dance platform in London - Resolution 2014 @ The Place (Contemporary Dance School of London) 11th Feb.https://www.facebook.com/events/646665155372489/ Followed by 'Free to Fall' performance at Rich Mix 22nd Feb.https://www.facebook.com/events/221126551422869/ The last platform is used for a working progress to hear the audience's feedback regarding the performance. I must say it was a very valuable outcome for a further develeopment of 'Am I'. Good feedback, very well received intentionally, emotionally and choreographically delivered human trafficking based dance performance. We are going to be around 10 dancers. After 3 days audition I couldn't do better then that. It's so hard to select people who are deeply connected with the subject of human trafficking. Beside the great dance techniques they've got such a beautiful soul and mind. So here we are, I will need to find a way to cover again the expenses of such a group. Regarding my stay in Italy it was just fabulous, it was like a dream, living day by day going from Pompei, to Sorrento, Salerno, Amalfi, Positano. Just turning around such a stunning Amalfi coast. Having a nice cappuccino and croissant for breakfast, a nice pasta with sea food for lunch and great pizza for dinner. I had got a quality time and definitely recharged the batteries mentally and physically. I am ready in fact to go there again for the Ester 18-26th April. May be slightly changing the location to some island such as Procida, this time back to boat as I think it suits me much better than the land's life.... Iv've started reflecting on a sentimental life, I am not sure any more if people want to spend some time together and try to make things work out, or they are searching for the easiest solutions. I am a bit perplexed about partnership. Is it because I am reaching a middle age and people with some more bad experience in a past don't want to take a risk any more of creating some valuable relationship and enjoy their lives again. Definitely my 40's (2nd Dec 2015) I would like to spend sailing around the world. By then I will be ready to go with flow again as I used to 10 years ago......
